Liverpool fitness fitness studio Barre Balance has recruited two new members of staff to meet growing client demand.

Annaliese Neumann and Sophie Hind have joined Barre Balance as fully qualified Barre instructors and will be supporting founder Natalie Butler in delivering classes online and in the city centre studio.

Barre Balance was opened by entrepreneur Natalie Butler in September 2019. Barre is described as fusion of pilates, yoga and ballet, where small movements are combined to shape and tone the body and help you to feel good.

However, she was forced to close the studio in March due to the COVID-19 lockdown. She continue her classes online and has not only retained her existing client base, but also attracted new clients from across the UK and as far afield as New Zealand, Hong Kong and Gibraltar.

The physical studio reopened on Saturday, July 25, but will still continue to offer the online sessions. Now Annaliese and Sophie have been taken on to meet that growing demand.

Canadian Annaliese is a foetal sonographer by day but is now also a certified Barre instructor. Having previously trained as a yoga teacher through Blissology, her Barre classes combine her passion for both practices.

Sophie, from Runcorn, is combining her Barre career with working towards her PGCE, teaching dance to high school and college students. She has already achieved a scholarship at Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA), and gained a degree in dance practice from Liverpool John Moore’s University.

Natalie said: “Both Annaliese and Sophie are fantastic additions to the Barre Balance team. They each bring an abundance of movement and wellness experience and expertise, not to mention a genuine passion for helping people to feel better about themselves.

“With our growing team we will now be able to expand our Barre Balance community, teaching more classes online and in the studio as well as bringing some exciting new projects to life.”
