Bibby Financial Services (BFS) has unveiled Daniel Williams as head of sales – corporate North to increase support for SMEs in the north of England and Scotland.

Daniel joins Liverpool-based BFS with more than 16 years’ experience in corporate banking and commercial finance. He has held a range of senior sales leadership roles within Lloyds Bank, most recently as director of invoice finance sales.

He will head up BFS’s corporate north team, responsible for developing transactions for SMEs with turnover up to £100m. It supports a range of requirements including working capital and cashflow, growth and expansion, MBIs and MBOs, refinancing, restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions.

BFS is the UK’s largest independent invoice finance provider. It is part of Bibby Line Group, a Liverpool family business that has existed for more than 200 years.

It supports almost 9,000 SME clients globally through its invoice finance and asset finance. Its product range includes foreign exchange, export and trade finance, as well as specialist finance for the construction sector.
