Blakes restaurant highly commended in Mystery Shop Awards 2015
Blakes Restaurant has been highly commended in the ‘Eatery’ category in this year’s Mystery Shop Awards.
As part of the report conducted by ThIS Liverpool, the North John Street restaurant, located within the award-winning Hard Days Night Hotel received an overall score of 92.4%, achieving top marks in a number of categories including food and drink, the team and arrival and greeting.
The assessment, which is undertaken annually, aims to monitor the standards of restaurants through the inspection of all dining experience aspects – taking into consideration the products and offers, customer service, ambience and overall satisfaction.
General Manager Mike Dewey said:
“We are thrilled to have received such a high score in the report, and it’s all the more rewarding that it has come through a mystery diner. This means that our staff, both on the restaurant floor and in the kitchen were not aware of the procedure and continued to perform exceptionally well in their duties. A highlight for us was receiving a 100% score for our food and drink, which was wonderful feedback to receive.
“As our customer dining satisfaction is key our menus are ever changing. With this in mind we like to mix things up by putting a contemporary twist on signature dishes while using fresh and local produce. We also adapt our dishes according to each specific season.”
Blakes Restaurant is open to both residents and non-residents alike and provides diverse food offerings including the popular All You Need is Blakes menu, as well as the A La Carte and Children’s menus.
Mike added:
“The previous few months have been great for both Blakes Restaurant and Hard Days Night Hotel, as in addition to receiving a highly commended status in this year’s Mystery Shop Awards, the hotel has recently been crowned Wedding Venue of the Year in the 2015 Eat, Drink, Sleep Awards. Likewise, it has also been awarded with a TripAdvisor 2015 Certificate of Excellence for the fourth year running.
“It gives us a real sense of pride and achievement to continue receiving accolades of such high calibre.”
