Blue Air is asking the people of Merseyside to choose its next new route out of Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA).

The Romanian carrier began flying out of Liverpool in March this year and its destinations include Alicante, Milan, Larnaca, Rome, Bucharest, Bacau and Cluj-Napoca.

When it first announced it was opening up a base at LJLA almost a year ago it asked local people to design the livery of its aircraft.

Now it wants your help once again and is looking for suggestions to add to its summer flight schedule from Liverpool in 2018.

Blue Air has eight operational bases in Europe, operating more than 100 routes in the UK, Italy, Spain, France, Romania and more.

Travellers who suggest the new destination chosen by the airline will all go into a draw to win two tickets to their chosen destination.

Elena Signorelli, Blue Air’s sales and marketing manager for North West UK, said: “This is a great opportunity for us as to get to know the local people and to help Blue Air choose a new destination for next summer.

“We have said since day one that we want to be seen as the region’s airline and there’s no better way to demonstrate this by asking passengers where they would like us to fly to next.”
