Commercial property firm Bruntwood is to hold a series of events for small businesses and start-ups in Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham and Leeds.

It is teaming up with small business support network Enterprise Nation to launch the Bruntwood Works Presents series featuring talks and masterclasses from some of the UK’s most inspiring small business leaders.

Speakers have also been announced for the Liverpool event being held at The Plaza in Liverpool’s business district on Thursday, April 4.

Enterprise Nation will welcome Gina Czarnecki, founder of innovative alternative coffin company Koffin, Lauren Kelly founder of Behaviour Studio, and Matt Johnson, managing director of FORM Studio, to explore how businesses can boost their bottom line through creativity.

Speakers for future events are still to be announced, but the series will cover topics aimed at supporting and inspiring businesses and will explore areas including branding, creativity in business, and how companies can harness social media to build their businesses.

The initiative is part of a wider collaboration which will see Enterprise Nation offering ‘plugged in’ support and business-building events, in curated Bruntwood spaces, the aim of which is to help firms grappling with the fundamentals of business groundwork including finances, marketing and exporting.

As part of the Bruntwood Works Presents launch activity, the company is offering a free Enterprise Nation membership for 12 months to the first 100 new customers, as well as 100 for existing Bruntwood customers. All customers will then be able to access the membership at a discounted rate.

Ciara Keeling, chief executive of Bruntwood Works, said: “Offering companies the opportunity to connect with their peers and be inspired and challenged by some of the UK’s most dynamic small business leaders is what this events series is all about.

We can’t wait to welcome our customers across the key regions to these events, where they will have the chance to network and hear first-hand the experiences of leading entrepreneurs who have some great insights and stories to share.
