Bruntwood’s lofty ambitions pay off at Cotton Exchange

Two exciting new refurbishment projects within Liverpool’s Cotton Exchange have been almost fully let within two weeks of completion.

The Loft & The Trading Rooms

The Loft is a unique space of six offices which combines industrial finishes with a large communal breakout area whilst a separate project called The Trading Rooms has introduced eight offices for small and start-up businesses

Just three of the original 14 spaces remain available after proving especially popular with businesses from the creative and digital sectors.

Both projects complement a wider multi-million pound refurbishment at Cotton Exchange in recent years, during which time the building has also become a core point of presence on the Metronet (UK) high-speed internet network.

Matt Lee, sales surveyor at Bruntwood, said:

“We continue to look for innovative ways to make Cotton Exchange a place for businesses of all shapes, ages and sizes to call home.

“The Loft and Trading Rooms were designed to meet what we recognised as a growing demand for something a little bit different in the commercial district.

“They were both fairly ambitious ideas but we are very pleased that they have successfully attracted a diverse mix of businesses such as events managers, training companies, software developers and architects.

“Development of the next phase of The Trading Rooms has started and we are also looking into options to extend The Loft scheme into other parts of the building.”
