Bumper property sale for Sutton Kersh September auction
Sutton Kersh has seen a spike in instructions for their September auction, with more than 140 lots on sale.
Cathy Holt, Associate Director at Sutton Kersh, said:
“In the last few weeks we’ve seen a real increase in instructions and the September auction will be a huge affair, with more than 140 lots on sale, including land, vacant houses, churches, commercial premises and tenanted residential properties throughout Merseyside, Manchester, Wigan and Wales.
“Amongst the 140 lots are a handful of standout properties where we expect strong bidding. In particular is Lot 32, a former abattoir site located in Whalley, Lancashire. The 3,100 sq ft comprises a range of detached blockwork, brickwork and stone single storey buildings and would be suitable for large residential re-development.”
Cathy’s tips for hot properties in the next auction include:
Lot 5 – A nine bedroomed town house on Edge Lane in Liverpool, ideal for student accommodation. The property has a guide price of £250k and when fully let to nine students produces a rental income of just under £40,000 per annum.
Lot 24 – A two bedroomed top floor apartment within Liverpool’s City Quay Development with a guide price of £90,000.
Lot 31 – A four bedroomed farmhouse and 0.32 acres of land in the heart of the Ribble Valley. The property is in need of some modernisation and comes with a guide price of £350,000.
Lot 64 – A rare opportunity to acquire 47 lock up garages across South Liverpool, all fully let and currently producing £28,300 per annum. The opportunity comes with a guide price of £275,000.
Sutton Kersh’s next auction will be held on the 15th September at the Crowne Plaza. For more information, visit www.suttonkersh.co.uk/auctions or call 0151 207 6315.
