Cabfind.com grows its management team further with two appointments

North West-based Cabfind.com has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Steve Ellis as head of supply chain and Christi Smith as implementations manager.

Steve has a long and proven track record in ground transport management, he also has an excellent understanding of the railway sector, having worked as head of procurement for train operating company Wales and Borders Trains for six years. Steve has also held senior purchasing positions for both Sony Uk and Hoover Plc.

Christi joins the the ground transportation B2B market leader from Blackberry where she held the position of marketing manager for five years. Prior to that, Christi held training management positions at several blue chip companies including T Mobile and O2 Telefonica.

In his new role, Steve will oversee both the supply management and supplier relations teams. His main priority is to develop and implement a supply chain strategy which promotes and develops long term relationships with new and existing suppliers, ensuring that the supplier network is managed effectively.

Christi Smith will be responsible for managing the implementation of new and existing Cabfind.com customers both on and offline. She will also be the primary contact for clients as they implement Cabfind.com’s services – from initial scoping meetings, through to post implementation reviews and evaluation.

Cabfind.com manages the private hire transport needs of corporate and public sector clients including the NHS, Her Majesty’s Prison Service and Channel 4 News.

Its new high caliber software development centre at its headquarters in Birkenhead will enable the business to become the leading provider or private hire vehicle booking platforms in the UK and overseas. It will also create a further 30 jobs over the next three years.
