Sunday is traditionally the day of rest, but there’s no rest for the talented team of chefs at Cargo Restaurant, Bar and Deli this Sunday as they introduce their new concept Cargo Sunday lunch platters.

Cargo launched just three months ago and has attracted a wealth of visitors from whom the feedback has been clear, the food and service at Cargo is second to none. Based at the ground floor of Alexandra Tower at the end of Princes Dock, the restaurant has been tastefully designed with elegance and style and is family owned and run.

All you need is a lazy Sunday afternoon, an adjustable belt and some good company. Cargo will provide more Sunday papers than you could hope to read, along with some of the finest acoustic singers around for your aural pleasure, not to mention mouth watering fresh food served with a smile.

Carnivores can delight in the choice of Roast Beef, Lamb or Chicken, along with a Fresh Salmon or Seabass option for their not so meaty mates, the style of food is fashionably homely. Polish off your platter with a selection of honey roasted vegetables, chunky Yorkshire puds, crispy yet fluffy roasted potatoes and fine homemade gravy. If you haven’t exploded with satisfaction by this point then Caz’s Cakes are on hand with a choice of tasty treats, guaranteed to itch your sweet tooth scratch.
