Carringtons Catering has named Nugent Care as their chosen Charity of the Year for the second time.

In hopes of giving something back to society, the Roby Mill based catering firm plan to offer continuous support to the Nugent Care charity, which aims to provide care for disabled and marginalised people of all ages, by taking part in various fundraising activities throughout the next 12 months.

Director of Carringtons Catering and Chair of Nugent Social Enterprises Helen Wynn said:

“We’ve had a longstanding relationship with Nugent Care so it’s really rewarding that we are able to continue the longevity of our relationship by working closely with them, and helping to raise much needed funds to support the wonderful services that the charity offers.

“Deciding on our Charity of the Year was difficult because we admire and appreciate them all so much – however we believe that Nugent Care’s charitable work and on-going support to the community is truly phenomenal. As a leading North West charity, Nugent Care has provided services for such a long time, and the work that they do changes so many lives across the region.”

Nugent Care was established in the 1800’s and continues to offer diverse means of support to adults and children across Liverpool and the North West through a wide range of individual and personalised services. More recently, they provide services to help those looking into adoption across Merseyside.

Fundraising Manager at Nugent Care Marie Reynolds said:
