Carringtons Catering is set to hold a unique wedding reception, as part of a comedy performance at New Brighton’s Floral Pavilion.

Having joined forces with theatre company, Interactive Theatre International and Floral Pavilion, the official venue caterers will collectively showcase ‘The Wedding Reception: A Dining Experience on June 17.

The event will consist of two hours of interactive and improvised comedy from the team behind ‘Faulty Towers The Dining Experience’.

A two-course wedding inspired meal devised by director of Carringtons Catering and Master Chef of Great Britain Darren Wynn will also be served.

Darren said: “Having previously worked with Interactive Theatre International to showcase the Floral Pavilion’s presentation of ‘Faulty Towers The Dining Experience’, we are excited to once again team up with these comedy geniuses to host a night of sheer laughter.

“While wedding catering is our forte, this unmissable event certainly offers dining with a difference. The show is an original piece of comedy theatre that transports the audience to the sort of party that most people have been to and will undoubtedly leave their sides aching from laugh out loud gags surrounding authentic wedding day hiccups.”

Guests will be served brie and leek tart with onion jam followed by Chicken Supreme with a wild mushroom and tarragon sauce. In line with typical wedding tradition, cake will be served for dessert.

‘The Wedding Reception: A Dining Experience’ has received five-star reviews from its appearance in London’s West End and at Brighton and Edinburgh Fringe. It has also graced Raffles Singapore, Australia and London Covent Garden, and is currently touring the UK.

‘The Wedding Reception: A Dining Experience’ will take place at Floral Pavilion on Saturday, June 17. Tickets are priced at £39.50 and guests should arrive at 7pm for a prompt 7:30pm dinner service.
