City hotel under offer at £6m less than original asking price
This week an annoucement has revealed that a city centre hotel is under offer for an amount considerably less than its asking price.
The Novotel on Liverpool’s Hanover Street is now under off at £12.3m, which is around £6m less than its original asking price.
The hotel, which is situated right next to popular city shopping destination Liverpool ONE and has 209-beds was first placed on the market in 2012 by Pedersen Hotels at £18m.
However, its ownership vehicle Pedersen (Liverpool) went into administration last year, handled by Northampton firm Chantrey Vellacott DFK.
The four-star venue has continued to trade under a lease agreement with French operator Accor.
According to Savills’ website the building is under offer but the identity of the buyer remains undisclosed.
