Frank McKenna, DLIB Chief Executive, said:

“The City of Liverpool Business Awards are one of the highlights of the calendar in the city and it’s great to see so many businesses taking part. The standard of entries was incredibly high and that’s testimony to the flourishing business community in Liverpool. The shortlist of entries alone shows the breadth of talent in our region and the awards are a perfect way to celebrate and recognise the contribution these businesses make to the city region’s economic growth.

“I am pleased for all the nominees, and winners, because, after coming through the toughest recession in living memory, it is these businesses that are the true heroes and the real story behind the UKs climb out of the downturn. They have all made an invaluable contribution to wealth and jobs creation in Liverpool, and they deserve huge congratulations and credit for their tremendous efforts.”
