Cocktails in the City is returning to Liverpool this month to host the “ultimate summer cocktail party”.

Following three sell-out events, Cocktails In The City will take place June 28 and 29 at one of Liverpool’s favourite venues, The Great Baltic Warehouse and 15 of city’s best bars will come together to host a ‘carnival of cocktails’.

This will comprise two rooms of tantalising drinks and immersive experiences that are designed to enliven the senses.

Those attending can choose from 30 original cocktails created exclusively for the festival by some of the city’s favourite bars including: Crazy Pedros; The Alchemist’s new venture, Aether; and Volpi, the new incarnation from the popular Filter + Fox.

Each of the bars have partnered with a premium spirit brand to create show-stopping serves as they compete for votes from attendees to be crowned best bar. Guests can enjoy all cocktails for just £6.50 with a complimentary cocktail on arrival.

Cocktail lovers can also enjoy an array of immersive experiences that include: a N100 Negroni Bar with Campari, celebrating 100 years of the Negroni; a raucous house party from the legends behind Bongo’s Bingo; a secret pop up bar from Berry & Rye and colour changing cocktails from Slingsby Gin and Eden.

Tequila Patron have partnered with Red Door to create a sustainability-focussed pop-up to help the dwindling bee population.

People can also take a spirited journey through the Experimental Chamber, where they can enjoy in-depth tastings, blending sessions and food and drink pairing experiences. The city’s best bars will be joined by street food vendors and live DJs from Liverpool Disco Festival.

Cocktails in the City has partnered up with Champagne Laurent-Perrier and Stylist Magazine to celebrate the ‘remarkable women’ of Liverpool’s hospitality industry. Guests can enjoy Champagne cocktails created by Liverpool’s leading female bartenders.

Andrew Scutts, founder of Cocktails In The City, said: Following three sell-out events, we are delighted to be back in Liverpool to celebrate the city’s fantastic cocktail culture. The festival is a must attend for any cocktail lovers.”
