Conlons Opticians bought by Vision Express
Conlons Opticians, headquartered in Liverpool, has been purchased by Vision Express.
Conlons currently has a network of 19 stores in the North West and Scotland. As part of the deal, ten shops will continue to trade with their current staff and in their current locations.
The remaining nine shops will be relocated to their nearest Vision Express shops, with the group “committed to retail” the experience of Conlons staff “wherever possible” at locations in Liveprool, Annan, Carlishle, Kendal, Lancaster, Milliom, Penrith, Widnes, and Wigan.

Conlons shops in Ashton-under-Lyne, Barrw, Dumfries, Formby, Heswall, Leigh, Morecambe, Ormskirk, Shoton, and Ulverston, will continue trading under the Vision Express brand, with the Dumfries Vision Express transferring to the former Conlons location.
This deal will give Vision Express 389 shops throughout the UK and Ireland.
