The countdown is on for Circo’s Never Ever Land concept
The team behind the city’s CIRCO brand has unveiled its next generation of entertainment in the form of Never Ever Land.
With just over one month to go until the new Seel Street venue’s grand opening, owner Jason McNeill has unveiled a series of teasers, detailing the transformation that has converted the former ‘freak show’ into a ‘kaleidoscope of thrill-seeking enchantment’.
Having drawn inspiration from other live performance venues across the globe including Coco Bongo and Cirque De Soleil, CIRCO Never Ever Land will revolve around four key concepts – CIRCO Dinner Shows, CIRCO Live Lounge, CIRCO Nightclub and CIRCO Private Hire, available for corporate and private events.
Jason said: “As an iconic Liverpool institution that continues to stand for all things weird and wonderful, CIRCO Never Ever Land is set to raise the bar when it comes to delivering a mesmerising experience like never before. As part of our next generation, it’s all about letting people’s imagination run wild and allowing them to enter a modern-day wonderland that’s filled with surprise, alongside a hint of strangeness.
“Our signature circus inspired branding has been realigned to mirror our new mystical vibe that couldn’t be any further away from the phrase ‘down to earth’. Likewise, our iconic brand logo also features a subliminal shocked emoticon, which pretty much sums up the reaction that we anticipate.”
The new 7,000 sq. ft. space, which has a capacity of 250 seated and an 1000 standing, will feature two dinner shows a week at 6pm with doors opening for a nightclub with a difference at 11pm.
In addition to its live performances, the venue can also be hired on an exclusive basis for private events such as corporate occasions and weddings.
Jason added: “In line with our steps in turning it up a notch, not only has the new space been specifically designed to enable our new aerial and acrobatic performances, many introductions have been made including our very own live artist lounge, corporate and social creative event space, together with our late-night nightclub transformation.
“Whether guests have formerly experienced our original Albert Dock concept or are yet to be enthralled by what we’ve got in store, things will never ever be the same again…”
