Cowgills moves to new Liverpool home
Accountancy firm Cowgills is relocating its Liverpool city centre office to accommodate its team which has more than quadrupled in a year
Accountancy firm Cowgills is moving its Liverpool office little more than a year after establishing a base in the city centre.
Cowgills set up shop in 20 Chapel Street last year with just four team members. Now that has grown to 18 people across business recovery, tax and audit and accounts. So the firm is taking 1,400 sq ft at Bruntwood’s Grade II listed Cotton Exchange.
Managing partner Paul Stringer said: “Investing in first-class facilities for our people and clients is a clear indication of our continued commitment to the region.
“Having superb facilities for our people is essential, not just for their health and wellbeing, but to ensure that we continue to recruit and retain the very best talent.
“With offices in these key northern cities we are able to provide a full service to clients regardless of where they are based across Merseyside, Lancashire and Manchester.

Cotton Exchange offers a private roof garden and event space, bike storage, showers and changing facilities. The Liverpool team will move into the new space this month.
Tony Reed, head of commercial at Bruntwood Works, added: “Cotton Exchange is a great destination for businesses to thrive and to engage and collaborate across a range of formal and informal contemporary spaces.
“I’m sure Cowgills will enjoy becoming part of the Cotton Exchange community and use that connection to develop its expanding business even further.”
