Creative Kitchen launch 2016 events in Liverpool and Manchester

Creative and digital events organisation Creative Kitchen has released details of their first events for 2016 beginning with the return of the Developer Breakfast at 92 Degrees Coffee on Hardman Street.

On Wednesday 3rd February, Liverpool’s digital community will gather for a morning of industry conversation as part of the popular creative, digital and tech meetup.

Alongside their regular Liverpool events, Creative Kitchen have partnered with Manchester Digital to launch their Developer Breakfast meetup in Manchester. Foundation on Lever Street will host the inaugural event on February 17th.

The ever popular Made Here talks will be moving to a new home – Buyers Club – on February 25th. Next month, Shop Direct’s head of ecommerce, Paul Hornby, will tell the online retailer’s story – moving from a catalogue business to one of the UK’s leading online retailers.

Sharing the bill will be fashion label Wasted Heroes founder Russell Reid and Annie O’Toole of crowdfunding startup Juxdit. Both will tell their stories and provide unique insights into their businesses.

Annie O’Toole said:

“’I’m a massive fan of the Made Here events and the work that Creative Kitchen has done to bring businesses across the North West together, so it’s a great pleasure to be asked to speak, alongside some fantastic Northern businesses, at their February event.”

Creative Kitchen curator and digital agency Studio Mashbo MD Gavin Sherratt also commented:

“The growth of Creative Kitchen has been amazing we’re seeing growing number of people attending our events and meetups.

“It’s been a great way to showcase the best of what Liverpool’s creative, digital and tech sector has to offer.

“But it also demonstrates the hunger for knowledge in the city. With this we are currently planning some additional knowledge events to support the sectors economic growth, with planned IP law and research and development tax credits work shops to help our fellow businesses to grow.”
