Automatic door manufacturer DAES is the first buyer of one of six units at a newly-completed industrial scheme on the edge of Liverpool city region. Tony McDonough reports
Agents for a recently completed multi-unit industrial development in Ellesmere Port have completed their first sale.
Developer Macs Property Construction has built Coronation Point in Coronation Road, completing in April. It comprises six units totalling 11,860 sq ft. Units range in size from 1,691 sq ft to 3,379 sq ft.
Now DAES, which installs, maintains and manufactures automatic doors, industrial doors, gates and barriers, has acquired one of the units. The sale price was not disclosed but asking prices on the units range from £235,000 to £360,000.
A further three units are under offer leaving two available to lease or buy. Joint agents are Keppie Massie and LM6.
Tony O’Keefe, director at LM6, said: “The scheme offers a rare opportunity to purchase small multi-let industrial units in the region which will be of particular interest to SIPP Investors and owner occupiers.”
Earlier this week LBN reported how another new business park is to be created at Ellesmere Port after the final piece of funding for the project was secured.
Acting for the owner of the site, Legat Owen, has secured a £9m loan from the Cheshire & Warrington Development Fund and Northwest Evergreen 1 Fund and a grant of £2.7m from the Cheshire Science Corridor Enterprise Zone.

With funds from the owner already in place it means work on Vortex Business Park, a multi-let industrial estate off Newbridge Road, can now begin. It will comprise five units with sizes ranging from 15,000 to 107,000 sq ft.
Vortex Business Park Ltd, based in Chester, is the registered owner of the development. It is headed by directors Catherine Pickering and John Pickering.
