Company has started work on the suites, at No 1 Old Hall Street, which will range in size from 140 sq ft to 1,100 sq ft and are suitable for one to 20 people. Tony McDonough reports.
Liverpool property firm Downing is to create 10 new ‘Flexi-Office’ suites totalling 5,000 sq ft in the heart of the city’s commercial district.
The company has started work on the suites, at No 1 Old Hall Street, which will range in size from 140 sq ft to 1,100 sq ft and are suitable for one to 20 people.
In the last few weeks Downing has also announced that coffee and sandwich chain Pret A Manger would also be moving into the building, occupying the ground floor space that was formerly the Exchange Bar.
Its Flexi-Office package features inclusive monthly rents, flexibility on duration to suit each customer’s business plan, along with a simplified and standard, short form of lease.
John Clegg, head of property management and Downing, said: “No.1 Old Hall Street is one of the most prestigious addresses in the city and our Flexi-Offices give smaller companies the chance to be based in the heart of Liverpool’s commercial centre, without paying crippling rents and service charges.
“This part of our portfolio allows us to offer our customers the flexibility a modern business needs, whatever its size.
“These new suites will be among Downing’s highest quality Flexi-Offices to date and we know there is strong appetite for this offering.”
