Downtown awards celebrate resilience of Mersey businesses
Around 400 guests attended the City of Liverpool Business Awards gala dinner held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Liverpool waterfront
Downtown in Business (DIB) welcomed 400 guests for the the City of Liverpool Business Awards gala dinner at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
Sponsored by Sedulo Group, the annual event celebrates the success of the city’s most best companies and entrepreneurs. DIB chief executive Frank McKenna said this year’s awards celebrated the resilience of those businesses that had survived the pandemic.
“It was great to see a packed room in Liverpool once again,” he said. “And also encouraging to have so many businesses attend who have clearly not only survived but thrived despite the huge challenges of the past 18 months.”
Big winners on the night were The Davies Partnership, who won the Business of the Year Award, entrepreneurial duo Charlotte Donoghue and Steph Porter from Say It With Diamonds, who took the Women of the Year prize, and Lu Bans’ David Critchley, who won Hero of the Year.
