First tenant signed up to newly refurbished L3 Helix building

Hitchcock Wright & Partners has secured the first letting for Palladium Group’s Old Hall Street office, L3 Helix, in Liverpool.

Hitchcock Wright & Partners acted on behalf of client Palladium Group in letting the new commercial offices at Helix.

The Liverpool Law Society will relocate its offices to the second floor 2,401sq ft unit on Old Hall Street, in the heart of the city’s commercial district.

The Liverpool Law Society exists to represent, promote and support all solicitors, so they in turn can help their clients. They also work to ensure that no-one is above the law and to protect everyone’s right to have access to justice. They work to open up markets to their members and to defend human rights while supporting members with opportunities in the domestic market.

Last year, Palladium Group started the multi-million pound refurbishment of adjoining offices Nations House and Stanley Hall, which were renamed L3 Helix and L3 Honeycomb as part of the transformation. The units offer a total 40,603 sq ft of office accommodation.

Spencer Bourne, chairman at Palladium Group, says:

“This is our first venture into the Liverpool office market having recently acquired four office buildings totaling 41,000 sq ft on Chester Business Park which was the initial extent of our North West property investment portfolio.

“We have a belief in the depth of the occupational market here and on current levels of initial interest in both buildings we are confident we will receive high levels of interest and let the space quickly.”

The remaining office accommodation available to let at Helix and Honeycomb offers a variety of suite sizes. Each unit has been refurbished to the highest standard and boasts high quality specification throughout, as well as high speed broadband.

Brian Ricketts, partner at Hitchcock Wright & Partners, says:

“We are delighted to have secured this letting for Palladium Group, especially to such a high profile tenant. The deal reflects the level and capital investment committed by the Palladium Group, which has given us great confidence in securing lettings on the remaining available suites in both buildings.”

Ian Steele of GVA who represented The Liverpool Law Society, says:

“We were impressed by both the quality and standard of the refurbishment works at Helix and given its location, the building was ideally suited to the Society’s future occupational and operational requirements.”
