Foodie trade exhibition Barcode Expo coming soon to Liverpool
A new trade exhibition for the bar, restaurant and café industry will take place in Liverpool later this year, it has been announced.
Barcode Expo is being developed by SK Events and PR, which also organises Liverpool Food & Drink Festival.
Barcode Expo will bring together Liverpool and the North West’s wealth of expertise and creativity across hotel, bar, café and restaurant owners and decision makers with trade exhibitors from across the industry.
This unique new event provides an excellent opportunity for businesses selling or promoting to the industry to increase brand exposure, expand their customer base, meet key decision makers and raise their profile in the North West region.
Barcode Expo will also feature a seminar programme with industry experts alongside a tasting theatre, networking events, sampling opportunities, demonstration area, spirit zone, and a cocktail flaring bar.
Barcode Expo takes place in the celebrated Camp and Furnace, a unique space that has become a real star of the regeneration of the ‘Baltic Quarter’ and itself one of Liverpool’s food and bar industry successes.
Denise Harris, director at SK Events and PR, said:
“After eight years organising the premier Liverpool Food and Drink Festival in the city, regularly attracting over 45,000 visitors, we felt it was time to leverage our expertise to create an industry-focused event to bring together suppliers to the industry with their target audience and our key clients.”
Barcode Expo will take place in the Camp and Furnace on 13 October 2015.
