Founder of Chic PR & Events, Lauren Greene wins Women in Business Awards 16 Newcomer of the Year
Lauren Greene, Founder and Director of Chic PR Events and the North West Fashion Festival, won Best Newcomer of the Year Award at Downtown’s Women in Business ceremony which took place at the Crowne Plaza, Liverpool last week.
Lauren Greene has worked closely with The Women’s Organisation over the past 3 years, receiving start-up support and assistance to grow her business. She now employs five members of staff and houses her business at 54 St James Street, the Women’s International Centre for Economic Development (WICED).
Lauren began Chic PR and Events in 2013, running large networking events for women in the fashion and beauty industry. Now Chic PR & Events works with clients across the North West providing them with; ‘A wide selection of services, from social media strategizing to marketing campaigns, all hand tailored to meet your needs in terms of business growth and vital exposure.’ Lauren is currently working with high profile businesses such as the internationally renowned skin-care brand Crystal Clear, founded by Liverpool-born Sharon Hilditch, and other health, beauty and fashion independents such as The Brow Club and Kapucia Yoga.
After receiving Best Newcomer of the Year at Downtown’s Women in Business Awards; Lauren said;
“I’m incredibly pleased to be able to accept this award. Myself and the team spend much of our time focussing on the building and growing other businesses through PR, marketing and events, so it’s amazing to be recognised for the good work that we do by Downtown in Business and The Women’s Organisation.”
2016 will certainly continue on this high note, as Lauren and the Chic Team have a calendar full of events to host and coordinate for their clients. As well as this, September will be dedicated to Lauren’s second business; The North West Fashion Festival. This year the two-day event will be held in the stunning venue of St George’s Hall. The North West Fashion Festival is an annual occasion which focuses on the fashion and beauty industry, inviting designers and creatives from across the North West to collaborate and show their designs off to the City of Liverpool. The event, which was last year held in Sefton Park Palmhouse, featured the work of X-Factor Sean Miley Moore’s designer; Ben Mak, Lola Loves and Miss Francesca Couture, and welcomed over 1,500 people through the doors.
