Liverpool building firm Frank Rogers Building Contractors is hailing the success of its charitable foundation as it rounds off the year with another significant donation.
As part of its annual 12 Days of Giving Christmas campaign, Frank Rogers has extended its festive spirit by donating £5,000 to the Riverside Group to support its community outreach initiatives.
In September 2023 the business launched the FR Foundation to mark 50 years of trading. It committed to donating thousands of pounds to good causes within the communities it serves.
Its aim was to “uplift individuals and communities” and “create a ripple effect of hope and empowerment”.
In the last 12 months the FR Foundation has made direct donations totalling more than £57,500, has created more than £84,000 in social value from volunteering activities as well as creating a further £44,737 in value through the provision of apprenticeships and work placements.
Social value is measured using the TOMS system which is a standard measure used across the UK. In the case of Frank Rogers it includes volunteering activities within working hours, cash donations and school visits, careers talks and University support.
Its latest donation to the Riverside Group includes:
- £2,000 for the Riverside Foundation, aiding its efforts in creating opportunities and tackling inequalities.
- £2,000 for various community projects aimed at improving local wellbeing.
- £1,000 to fund a job opportunity for a person experiencing homelessness, providing a life-changing chance for stability and growth.
In addition to the financial contributions, Frank Rogers partnered with Riverside to bring extra festive cheer to residents at one of their ongoing social housing projects in Liverpool.
To show gratitude for their patience during the works, the Frank Rogers team hand-delivered Christmas parcels to each of the 310 residents, ensuring no one felt left out during the holiday season.
The contractor also donated £1,000 to Plus Dane’s Winter campaign as well as donating essential food items to a local foodbank among other activities. An extra £250 was donated by window manufacturer Warwick North West.
Dean Rogers, managing director of Frank Rogers, said: “At Frank Rogers, giving back to the community is at the heart of what we do.
“This Christmas, we’re delighted to work alongside Riverside to make a meaningful impact through donations and personal gestures that brighten lives. Supporting those who need it most is part of our ethos, and we’re proud to contribute to Riverside’s incredible work.”

A spokesperson for Riverside Group also expressed their gratitude, adding: “We’d like to say a huge thank you to Frank Rogers for their generous donation to our Riverside Foundation and community projects.
“This will enable us to better help more of our customers who need it most, either through direct practical support like employment and training advice or via one of our community projects that help our neighbourhoods thrive.”
The 12 Days of Giving campaign is Frank Rogers Building Contractors’ annual initiative to support local communities, with this year’s contributions totalling more than £15,000.
