Free course to help you make a positive change

Run by social enterprise The Women’s Organisation, the free four-week programme is open to women and men across Liverpool city region who are currently economically inactive and want to make a positive change

Liverpool social enterprise The Women’s Organisation is offering places on a free programme to help women and men looking to make a positive change to their lives.

Change It: Building Better Opportunities is a four-week course for people in Liverpool, Wirral, Sefton, Knowsley, St Helens and Halton who are not in paid employment or economically inactive (eg student, homemaker, taking a career break or retired).

Delivered online via Zoom, the programme will offer a toolkit of strategies that will help people to:

  • Develop a positive mindset.
  • Set goals for the future.
  • Learn how to budget.
  • Become financially resilient.

The first session will take place on Tuesday, April 20 and will then take place every subsequent Tuesday, with the final session on May 11. This programme is funded by the Building Better Opportunities fund jointly supported by National Lottery Community Fund and the European Social Fund.

Once you have booked, one of the team members at The Women’s Organisation will be in touch to complete an induction /registration form with you and collect two pieces of evidence of your eligibility.
