Frequency Fitness range launches in Taskers
Liverpool activewear brand strikes deal to supply its merchandise to Taskers Sports, one of the UK’s biggest independent sportswear stores. Tony McDonough reports
Activewear entrepreneur Hasan Zamir has struck a deal to see his Frequency Fitness merchandise stocked in one of the UK’s biggest independent sportswear stores.
His Frequency Fitness line is now being sold at the Taskers Sports outlet in Aintree. Self-employed courier driver Hasan launched the business in September 2021. Earlier this month LBN reported it was on track for a £200,000 turnover this year.
He started the venture after struggling to find matching ‘dad and lad’ activewear outfits for himself and his young son Elias.
Starting the brand with just one t-shirt in five colours, Hasan, with the help of his partner Megan, has since created an entire mens and boys range. It offers more than 10 different items in over 40 different colours.
He also recently welcomed three new investors – former professional boxer Tony Bellew, 20-year-old content creator StillRyan, and former MMA fighter Mark Scanlon. Before this new deal with Taskers the brand was only available online.
Its in-store range will include t-shirts, shorts, tracksuits, windbreakers, jackets and hoodies. The clothing ranges have been named after inspirational words including the TRANSFORM t-shirt collection, FOCUS t-shirt collection and HUMBLE hoodies.
Hasan said: “Being stocked in one of the biggest independent sportswear stores in the UK is absolutely incredible for Frequency Fitness and myself and the team. We are really proud of how far we’ve come in such a short space of time.

“We recently welcomed three partners on board to help drive the brand even further and reach new audiences, and being part of Taskers Sports will certainly solidify this.
“Taskers Sports is home to the biggest brands in the world and being placed alongside them is a significant development for the brand.”
