Get on Board with MYOB and the Epstein Theatre
YBnews, organisers of the Mind Your Own Business event series have partnered with The Epstein Theatre to bring you an event that aims to help you to explore the different ways to access funding and finance for your growing business.
With so many different types of finance available, it can be a complex process to source and secure the type that’s best for you.
We have brought together a panel of experts to take you through some of the options; from bank loans, leasing, venture capital, business angels and of course crowdfunding. Their aim is to help you understand which type of finance is right for your business and offer important advice as to how that finance should be secured.
We are excited to announce that CrowdBoarders, a leading crowdfunding platform that originates from Texas will be joining our panel. They bring a wealth of experience in the relatively new concept of crowdfunding.
CrowdBoarders built the world’s first social network with the sole purpose of bringing about positive change, ultimately helping people to raise money for their ideas by creating and investing in CrowdBoards as an online community.
Our other panellists include Begbies Traynor, Mitchell Charlesworth, MSB Solicitors, NatWest Banking Group and The North West Fund.
Jennie Lewis, director at YBnews said:
“Finding funding and finance for your growing business can be a minefield. There seems to be lots of advice available, but the tangible routes to actually securing finance are less accessible. We hope that this event will arm people with the right information so they really can begin to put their ideas for growth and development into action.
“We’re so pleased with the panel we have outlined for this event. Between them, they offer unequivocal experience in accessing funding and finance, and are here to give honest, no holds barred advice on the best ways to take your business to the next level, whilst mitigating any risks that may be involved. This is a must attend event for businesses looking to take the next step.”
Rebekah Pichilingi from the Epstein Theatre added:
“We’re delighted to be working with YBnews on this event. We introduced conferencing and events at The Epstein in just March this year after we identified a growing demand for large-scale events space in the city.
“We have delivered our first wedding, which was just beautiful to see and this event will be among the first of its kind in our venue.
“Of course, as an independent and self-funded business, we recognise the need for advice on funding and finance in order to grow. I really do hope that this event will help businesses who attend through what can be a tough stage.”
Welcome drinks and canapés will be provided for all attendees and organisers say that the event will be an opportunity for like-minded business owners and representatives to meet, share and learn from the experiences of the panel.
The event is on Tuesday, 30th June at 4pm. To book your place, contact Jennie Lewis at YBnews on jlewis@ybnews.co.uk
