Global digital consultancy Stratesys has opened a new base at Sci-Tech Daresbury and will create 20 jobs during 2023.
Based in Spain, Stratesys employs 1,500 people in Europe, in Spain, Portugal and Germany, and in Latin America. The business has a turnover of more than £70m a year.
It helps both large corporates and SMEs with their digital strategies in areas such as big data, AI, cybersecurity and e-commerce. Existing clients in the UK include Virgin Media O2, Tui and Anglo America.
Now the firm has set up home at the Innovation Centre in Sci-Tech Daresbury, Liverpool city region’s main science and innovation campus.
To aid its UK expansion, the company has appointed Reuben Ash – an experienced ERP (enterprise resource planning), digital, and e-commerce specialist.
He has a background in working with corporates and SMEs to improve processes and increase turnover and profitability – as director of sales and business development for UK and Ireland.
Pablo Meijide, UK country partner at Stratesys, said: “We’re thrilled to announce our arrival in the UK and at Sci-Tech Daresbury.
“When looking for our UK location, we wanted to be surrounded by fellow innovators, where we would have access to leading universities and other pioneering research bodies.

John Leake, business growth director at Sci-Tech Daresbury, added: “Stratesys is yet another global leader that has rightly decided that the Liverpool city region is the best place in the UK for forward-thinking, innovative, international businesses to be located.”
