Expanding Wirral IT service provider has moved to a new home in Birkenhead.

Established in 2008 Vigo IT Solutions started very small and now employs 10 people – with another two starting in the coming weeks.

Now is it relocating from The Foundry in Birkenhead to The Lauries, operated by Wirral Chamber of Commerce.

Vigo director, Kurt Beaumont-Jones said: “It’s through the continued hard work and excellence of our staff that we’ve been able to grow.

“Every staff member is strongly engaged within the business and knows what we’re trying to achieve, they simply love working here.”

The firm also offers opportunities to young people and four of its staff have started off as apprentices.

One, Dan McDonagh, who is now a technical lead in the business, said: “I began working for Vigo when I was 18 and four years later, I have developed a huge amount professionally and personally.

“Vigo has given me the chance to learn and progress in a positive and encouraging environment.”

Paula Basnett, chief executive of Wirral Chamber, added, “Vigo is a fast-growing business and is one which we will continue to assist and encourage in developing its future plans for growth.”
