Hampson Hughes Solicitors, which specialises in no win no fee personal injury compensation, has appointed David Owen as Head of Costs.

David joins from Lawlords, an independent costs company, where he helped to set up and run their Liverpool office.

Prior to this David worked at Keoghs in Bolton as a team leader in the costs recovery department and before that he worked at Compass Law as head of the drafting department.

Commenting on David’s appointment, John Hughes, Hampson Hughes Solicitors’ joint managing director, said:

“David is an experienced costs consultant with a proven track record in running successful costs departments. His expertise will be an asset to the firm and we’re delighted to have him on board.”

David added:

“I will be focusing on training the team and up skilling the department to ensure increased profitability. From a personal point I’m looking forward to working on high value costs work through the serious injury, clinical negligence and industrial disease departments.”
