Happy Halloween from Southport Pleasureland

It’s happy Halloween month this October at Southport Pleasureland and the award-winning theme park has plenty of SPOOKTACULAR treats in store!

Open every weekend plus half term week from Saturday, October 24th to Friday, October 30th, this terror-ific attraction is hosting Boo for You! and is gearing up for Happy Halloween with lots of tricks and treats ghoul-ore!

The theme park, or should that be scream park? is being haunted by bats, spooky scarecrows, cackling witches and ghostly characters, surrounded by more pumpkins than you can shake a broomstick at!

But it’s more cheery than eerie at the Park which welcomes everyone from tiny tots to those in their twilight years to come and enjoy its FREE Halloween events.

The Park will be open from 11am until 6pm, when families can come and marvel at the Halloween decorations and have a go on the rides, not forgetting the Ghost Train of course!

Don’t miss the Freaky Frozen musical show in the family area during half term week. And watch out for the resident Wizard who will be wandering around the park performing his mysterious magic as well as encouraging audience participation for the bravest to join in his witch trials on the stage!

Why not dress up and join in the Halloween Parade on Saturday, October 24? The Parade starts at 5.30pm from Southport Pleasureland’s Arena, so let your little monsters dress up in their best scary costumes and join in the fun.

There will also be a fantastic free firework display on Monday, 26th October in the Arena area.

The Park is free to enter, so you can wander around and soak up the spooky atmosphere, and enjoy the sights and sounds, bats, wizards, characters and pumpkin displays.

You can purchase a specially designed Happy Halloween Fun Card and load it with tokens to use on rides, or just come and watch the free shows and enjoy a cup of Witch’s brew in one of the coffee bars. There are plenty of refreshments on offer, including traditional fish and chips and a great gift shop where you can buy affordable souvenirs.
