Former Liverpool and England defender Jamie Carragher will hold a star-studded gala dinner to raise funds for his charity, The 23 Foundation, in November.

The charity was set up by Carragher in 2009 and has since supported initiatives to provide opportunities for disadvantaged young people on Merseyside through education and sport.

The foundation has also helped deliver experiences for terminally ill children and has in recent years given support to community organisations such as food banks. The black-tie gala dinner will take place at the Rum Warehouse at the Titanic Hotel on Stanley Dock on Friday, November 15. It will be hosted by TV presenter and comedian Paddy McGuinness.

There will be special guest appearances from football players including Gary Neville who will take part in a Q&A with Jamie Carragher himself.  Organisations supporting the event include Redrow and Steve Morgan, MSB Solicitors, Everkool, The Crossfield Group, YPG Developments and Signature Living.

There are a small number of sponsorship and table packages left available. More information about the fundraising evening is available by emailing josh@danielhughespr.com
