Homecoming for Berry & Cooper with a Liverpool office launch
Corporate recovery and insolvency practice Berry & Cooper has opened a new office at The Plaza in Liverpool.
The Manchester-based firm formed last year following a merger, and is continuing with an ambitious growth strategy that has already seen it acquire Chorley-based rival Clark Lindsay in October.
The move also signifies a return home for the company’s founder and managing partner Stephen Berry who pursued a successful legal career in Leeds and ultimately qualified as an insolvency practitioner, following his Merseyside upbringing.
Berry,born and raised in Liverpool, launched his own successful practice, Berry & Co, in 2007 and later merged with Jonathan Cooper’s corporate recovery team to form Berry & Cooper in the summer of 2014.

Berry & Cooper joins a host of fellow professional services businesses at the Bruntwood-owned building, including Investec, Weightmans, O’Connors, DTM Law, Wilcocks & Associates and Langtons.
