Liverpool insurance broker Griffiths & Armour is to relocate its city centre headquarters from Water Street to Princes Dock on the waterfront.

The firm, which also has offices in London, Manchester and Dublin, has signed a 10-year lease on 18,000 sq ft at No 12 Princes Dock in Liverpool Waters.

It is scheduled to complete its move from its current home in Drury House by the end of the third quarter of this year.

It will join some of the big names in business at Liverpool Waters with KPMG, PWC and Savills already in residence at the waterfront location.

Griffiths & Armour will occupy space on the third floor of No 12. The building is also home to Cargill, CMA CGM Shipping and Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership.

Liza Marco, Asset Manager at Liverpool Waters, said: It’s fantastic to welcome another established business like Griffiths & Armour to Liverpool Waters. We’re delighted to secure such a large letting in a competitive office market.

“The team at Griffiths & Armour recognised that Princes Dock has so much to offer their business – providing them with the opportunity to occupy high-quality office space in Liverpool city centre whilst also being in a tranquil waterfront environment.”

Peel was advised by Ian Steele at GVA. Griffiths & Armour was advised by Brian Ricketts at Hitchcock Wright & Partners.

Griffiths & Armour Group chief executive, Steve Bamforth, added: “We’re really excited about the move – this is a fantastic opportunity to provide a work environment that not only offers tremendous efficiency gains but also reflects the values and culture of the firm.”
