A new business has opened up in Liverpool with two former partners of a European patent attorneys at the helm.

The business in question is Bartle Read at Liverpool Science Park, established by Robin Bartle and David Read.

The business provides advice on intellectual property issues for businesses including patent strategy and acquisition, IP disputes and protection for product designs.

Bartle Read’s directors have much experience to draw from with a particular expertise in the life sciences, pharmaceuticals, electronic engineering, computing, mechanical engineering and green technologies sectors.

David Read said:

“We have already developed a significant client base including businesses across a range of sectors and are also working with venture capital provider Spark Impact to provide IP advice to some of the businesses within its portfolio.”

Bartle Read also has a central London office. Robin Bartle added:

“Our focus now is on growing the business while maintaining that vital culture of client care.”
