Hundreds of guests will gather at the Hilton Hotel in Liverpool on Saturday, September 28, for the 2024 John Haynes Foundation Gala Dinner.

As always, since its inception in 2021, the black tie Gala Dinner will look to raise thousands of pounds for the ongoing work of the John Haynes Foundation, named after Liverpool business coaching legend John Haynes who died in 2021.

Via his Liverpool Coaching Academy, John inspired generations of business people and entrepreneurs to “fly with the eagles”. In 2021 a number of Merseyside business people established the foundation with the aim of “transforming 1m lives”.

It is dedicated to empowering individuals through innovative coaching and development programmes and is founded on the principles of visionary leadership and personal growth.

The impact of the foundation’s programmes has been overwhelmingly positive, providing individuals with the tools to overcome self-limiting beliefs.

In the past year alone it has worked with the City of Liverpool College and Wirral Metropolitan College to support young apprentices as well as enabling adults to return to education via its Striving for Success programme.

This year’s dinner will bring  together supporters, partners, and beneficiaries for “an evening of celebration, inspiration and philanthropy”.

In its announcement the foundation says: “The Gala Dinner is a vital fundraising opportunity that supports the foundation’s mission to inspire and develop individuals to become the best versions of themselves.

“Despite being a relatively young foundation, significant progress has already been made in transforming young lives across the region.

“This year, 500-1000 young individuals are expected to go through the Foundation’s programmes—outpacing even the efforts of the Princes Trust in the Liverpool region.

“This year we recognise two new Eagles as part of our Young Eagles of the Year Award, honouring their exceptional commitment to becoming the best versions of themselves.

“The award is a cornerstone of the evening, highlighting the achievements of young individuals who have embraced the John Haynes Way of learning and personal development.”

On the night the foundation will also announce its Eagle of the Year Award, presented to a partner or individual who has gone above and beyond in their support for the foundation in the last year.

Guests will enjoy food, entertainment, and the chance to participate in an auction featuring exclusive items. The evening will also feature Greatest Hits Radio Host, Simon Ross, back on hosting duties.

It added: “The foundation is keen to extend its work within the charitable sector, reaching out across communities who otherwise would not be able to benefit from personalised coaching and mentoring.

“Funds raised during the evening will be utilised to widen our reach across this valuable sector within Liverpool city region.”

Tickets for the Gala Dinner are available for purchase on the John Haynes Foundation website. There is also an offer for various sponsorship packages for businesses and individuals who wish to support the event and gain visibility for their contributions.
