You could have a full-funded JMU intern working in your business

Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) is offering Liverpool city region businesses the opportunity of having a full-funded intern joining their team.

The LJMU Discovery Internships are free of charge for businesses in the city region and offer bright, energetic university-level workers over a period of months. All you need to do is offer meaningful work and you can take on an undergraduate for up to 140 hours.

Applications are now open from employers that can offer a supportive learning environment and an opportunity to get involved in, or lead, a short project. Students are available to start the week starting November 15, 2021.

Danielle Anderson, work-based learning consultant at LJMU, said: “As part of LJMU’s commitment to developing students for rewarding careers, we are delighted to invite local businesses in the greater Liverpool and Liverpool city region to work with us on the Discovery Internships.

“We want our students to be able to discover their unique skills and talents whilst employers discover the value of engaging an intern in their company.”

Organisations must have fewer than 250 employees and be based in the city region or surrounding areas, eg Warrington. Deadline to apply is midday on Friday, October 8. Click here to get involved or register your interest.
