Velocity Trampoline Park is encouraging visitors to jump on board its new selfie-inspired craze

The 27,000 sq. ft. Widnes trampoline park has coined the phrase ‘The Jumpie’, which encourages parents to snap a picture of their youngsters mid-air.

As the largest of its kind in the North West, the popular trampoline park will run a competition from now until April 19, whereby a prize will be given to the jumper who captures the most innovative in-air image.

Managing Director of Velocity Trampoline Park Steven Cosgrove said:

“Since our opening in June of last year, we have certainly noticed a rise in guests who are sharing their experiences at Velocity Trampoline Park across various social media platforms through pictures and videos. We wanted to put a novel twist on the trend by coining the ‘Jumpie’, which encourages parents to take creative photos of their child mid-air and share them with us online. For parents who are looking for an exciting way to combat Easter holiday boredom, we think the ‘Jumpie’ is just the trick. What’s more, to coincide with the ‘Jumpie’ competition, guests who book an hour session over the phone will also receive a second hour free throughout the holidays right up until April 19.”

Combining fun with fitness, Velocity Trampoline Park is home to more than 150 trampolines, party rooms and even a viewing area from which parents can capture their ‘Jumpies’. The venue also caters to children’s parties, club nights, Toddler Time and Velocity Fitness, alongside weekly activities such a Dodgeball league for children, teenagers and adults to take part in.

“Not only is the ‘Jumpie’ a great chance for youngsters to show off their trampolining skills, it’s an opportunity for parents to capture everlasting memories.
