The move came last week after research indicated that there was a gap in support and guidance for those with a limited tech knowledge looking to buy gifts this Christmas.

The innovative service is operated by JUXDIT’s purchasing and customer service team, who seek the best product for the customer, regardless of whether JUXDIT currently stocks it or not.

The premise invites customers to contact JUXDIT through phone or e-mail, with them helping to loctae the ideal gift using their knowledge and expertise.

The service identifies the customer budget and criteria, and finds the best products matching this, eradicating the problems faced when battling through the busy Christmas crowds looking for tech gifts with little insight into which is the better option.

‘Our ethos is built around informed purchasing decisions, we’re currently in beta, so we don’t have all of the products we stock live; more and more often we’re finding ourselves offering a bespoke service to our network who may want to access a product we don’t have available on our site yet, but we do stock – that’s when we thought, if our network in the digital sector is having this issue, imagine the problems some of the general public must face when trying to buy these products’ says JUXDIT Founder, Annie O’Toole.

What’s more, the service isn’t biased and is based on the sharing of knowledge and information, not generating sales. Annie continues; ‘And, if we don’t have the right item for the job, we will do everything we can to find out who does’

This Christmas, JUXDIT will be supporting national charity Friends of the Elderly via a gift wrapping service. Friends of the Elderly provides support to all older people, particularly those who are vulnerable and isolated. Its range of personalised care and support services includes care homes, befriending schemes and grants, which help with keeping people well and warm.
