Law firm Primas Law has secured a new partnership with Mersyside supercar brand Briggs Automotive Company (BAC).

Just weeks after setting up its first Liverpool office, Manchester-based Primas will become the ‘go-to’ legal adviser to BAC. It produces bespoke supercars, the BAC Mono and BAC Mono R.

Primas, which also has bases in Cheshire and London, took 1,200 sq ft at the Grade I-listed Royal Liver Building with space for 25 staff in September. Managing partner Adam Kerr heads up the new Liverpool team.

BAC is owned by Briggs brothers Ian and Neill and operates from manufacturing premises in south Liverpool. Founded in 2009, it builds each car to a unique specification for each of its clients, ensuring that no two Monos are the same.

With fewer than 200 cars worldwide currently, the Mono supercars are distributed to more than 40 countries around the globe.

Adam Kerr said: “We’re all about quality at Primas Law and that’s why BAC is exactly the type of client we love to work with. The brand is synonymous with cutting-edge technology, style and quality. That focus on quality sits perfectly with what Primas always endeavours to deliver.

“After opening our Liverpool office space in September, we’re excited to be working with Liverpool-based brands that are leading the way in their field. We look forward to contributing to BAC’s exciting and continued growth.”

Neill Briggs, founding director at BAC, added: “Working with the Primas Law team was a complete no-brainer for us, and their experience in the automotive world really stood out.

“Their no-nonsense approach to getting things done is incredibly refreshing, and they’ve already proved themselves to be a partner that the business can rely on and that adds real value.”
