Literature jumps Off the Page at Liverpool Literature festival

On Saturday 18 October, Merseyside Literature Partnership will present Off the Page – a day of activities showcasing the regions diverse literature offer.

Located at Liverpool’s centre for the contemporary arts at the Bluecoat, there are readings scheduled by Andrew McMillan and Horatio Clare alongside local writers.

Visitors can also get involved by taking part in workshop tasters, writing poetry and join a shared reading whilst a News From Nowhere bookstall will also feature for your visitors perusal.

Among the 15 organisations involved in the day are The Reader, News from Nowhere, Mercy and Writing on the Wall.

Off the Page is coordinated by Merseyside Literature Partnership – a consortium of venues, organisations and university departments offering a wide range of literature activity in Liverpool.

All events during the day are free but booking is required for the events from 4pm. To book ring tickets and Information on 0151 702 5324 or email info@thebluecoat.org.uk. The event takes place between 11am and 9pm.

Merseyside Literature Partnership includes; The Atkinson, the Bluecoat, Circle of Literary Friends, Dead Good Poets Society, Edge Hill University, Liverpool Hope University, Liverpool John Moores University, Liverpool Poetry Cafe, Mercy, News from Nowhere, North End Writers, The Reader, University of Liverpool, The Windows Project, Writing on the Wall.
