Liverpool based air-conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation firm Everkool has acquired ventilation wholesalers Hargreaves in a £150,000 deal.

Bootle-based Hargreaves has supplied ventilation products to North West businesses for more than 20 years and the deal secures the future of its 14 employees and boosts Everkool’s portfolio. Everkool is a design, installation and maintenance specialist.

Everkool managing director, Craig Greenwood, said: “We’re pleased to announce the acquisition of Hargreaves wholesalers and are looking forward to offering a fully functioning and expanded trade counter with more ventilation products. 

“Hargreaves was a solid business with real potential so the acquisition made sense particularly given our existing knowledge and experience in the field. 

“We’ve renamed the wholesalers Greenwood Hargreaves so that it represents a new era but so that it also reflects the quality associated with the brand as it was. This is an exciting time for both the wholesalers and Everkool. We’re looking forward to further growth and expansion in 2019.”
