Expert Apps says it will allow dance schools to upload photos, videos, lessons and music with a free upgrade to its Dance Life app
Liverpool app developer Expert Apps is offering a lifeline to dance schools during the coronavirus lockdown.
It’s app Dance Life, allows schools to upload photos, videos, lessons, music, documents and other content. It will help those looking to keep their businesses going during the lockdown by continuing to offer a service to their students.
Similar to many apps, Dance Life comes in a free, more basic version, and an upgraded version for which there is usually a fee. Now Experts Apps has upgraded all of its 230-plus dance school customers for free. It gives them scope to upload more content.
Dance Life allows dance schools to adapt it to suit their own particular needs. According to Expert Apps co-founder and chief executive, Darren Galvin, it means they can create “an app within an app”. Clients include Jenni Nolan Owens who runs Liverpool-based Dance Design Events, behind some of the largest dance events in the UK with more than 10,000 dancers entering competitions every year.
He added: “It is so upsetting to see businesses falling with COVID-19. To think that all of these students are not only missing out on their schooling is terrible enough, but to miss out on their social and out of school learning activities too is not fair.
“Currently, clubs within Dance Life app have their social feed. Expert Apps would like to support them by giving all an app within the Dance Life App. This means they will be able to upload all of their content, including videos, images, audio tracks and continue their social engagement. All managed from an admin dashboard.”
To further assist users of the app, the compact will also upgrade their storage limits. Expert Apps is also doing the same for its martial arts and football apps.
