Liverpool livestreaming and virtual events company Virtuopo has launched its new live broadcast studio with green screen technology. Tony McDonough reports

Virtual events venture Virtuopo has opened its new live broadcast studio just outside Liverpool city centre.

Located at its headquarters at Brunswick Business Centre, Transmission Studio is designed for hosting virtual conferences and events, as well as live broadcasts including influencer livestreams, podcasts and music performances.

It features green screen technology, broadcast quality lighting, a fixed gallery and remote production facilities. Virtuopo will use the studio to create live content and stream events for its clients. They include global brands, law firms and Premier League football clubs.

Fully soundproofed, the studio will also be available for corporate use with competitive rates for creative agencies, social media influencers and retailers operating in the livestream shopping space.

Transmission Studio has already played host to a number of projects including a live global conference for a Premier League football club and a large green screen corporate production, which is due to launch next year.

This opening of Transmission Studio forms part of Virtuopo’s plans for expansion as the business continues to attract enviable client briefs.

Virtuopo was established in 2020 by local entrepreneur Chris Holmes, co-founder of Liverpool-based video production company, Zut, where he was head of live content for more than a decade.
