Liverpool Food and Drink Festival “springs” into action

Organiser of Liverpool Food and Drink Festival, SK Events & PR, has announced plans to bring “Liverpool Food and Drink Spring Festival” to Sefton Park during the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. The Easter event set to take place from 5th-6th April will have a much greater focus on families and children than the annual September event, which will return from 19th – 20th September.

Liverpool Food and Drink Spring Festival will transform the park into a fun-filled Easter playground, offering an array of interactive activities and elements of “grow your own”.

There will be plenty to keep the children entertained, with everything from a classic egg and spoon race and Easter egg decorating, to a live petting farm and egg hunt with hidden clues and Easter surprises hidden around the park. There will also be a dedicated chocolate area where visitors can indulge in home-made chocolate treats or take part in one of the chocolate masterclasses on offer.

Not forgetting the food and drink element to the festival, there will be over 50 producers located in the themed areas across the field. Visitors can eat, drink and shop their way around the zones, which include, street food, deli delights, a heavenly chocolate garden, sweet and treats, cafe corner, children’s zone and kitchenware area.

Liverpool Food and Drink Spring Festival is set to get the entire family in the Easter spirit with plenty for the adults too, including wine tasting sessions and a relaxing champagne bar.

Denise Harris, Managing Director at SK Events & PR, said:

“With the growing success of Liverpool Food and Drink Festival over the past seven years, a spring festival felt like the perfect next step for us. Our brand new festival being very family orientated, there seemed like no better time for us to stage the event than over the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend.

“We have hand-picked the producers and carefully planned each and every activity to guarantee visitors an exciting and fun-filled Easter day out for the entire family.”

Along with the activities, food, drink and shopping at Liverpool food and Drink Spring Festival, visitors can also enjoy live music, performances and themed demonstrations over the two days.
