Entries now open for the Liverpool Hospitality People Awards which are set to return in spring 2023 after a two-year break

Organisers of the Liverpool Hospitality People Awards are inviting entries for the event which returns in spring 2023.

Taking place on March 30 at the Titanic Hotel, the People Awards are supported by The Guide Liverpool, MSP Global and the Titanic Hotel. They celebrate the unsung and hardworking teams and individuals of the city region’s hospitality sector.

This relaunched event will feature 15 categories recognising excellence in both customer-facing and operational roles.

Categories include the ‘Rising Star Award’ and ‘Front’ and ‘Heart of House Awards’ as well as recognising talents chefs, baristas, sommeliers. There will also be the return of the ‘Chairman’s Award’, which is awarded to an inspirational figure in the hospitality sector.

As well as being an evening of celebration the awards aim to raise money for Hospitality Action. It offers assistance to all who work, or have worked in hospitality in the UK with help, advice and support whenever times get tough.

Steven Hesketh, vice-chair of Liverpool Hospitality, said: “The past few years without doubt, have been the most challenging time for our industry.
