Liverpool law firm offers new 80 jobs

Law firm High Street Solicitors has relocated its Liverpool city centre headquarters and is holding a recruitment evening to fill 80 new vacancies. Tony McDonough reports

Liverpool law firm High Street Solicitors is creating 80 new jobs after moving to a new headquarters in the city centre.

High Street Solicitors (HSS) has moved its current 75-strong team just a few yards from the Cotton Exchange in Old Hall Street to a 14,875 sq ft office space at 1 Tithebarn, on the corner of Tithebarn Street and Old Hall Street.

Now HSS is to grow its headcount to 155 by creating 80 new roles. On Thursday, March 10, it will be holding a recruitment event at PINS Social Club in Duke Street in Liverpool city centre from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

The firm specialises in data breach, employers liability, housing disrepair, Japanese knotweed, medical negligence, mis-sold investments, mis-sold pensions and public liability cases.

At its new HQ it has created a dedicated team-building area, as well as a training room for new staff and a newly-renovated large kitchen and dining area. In the summer months, a private garden will be revealed in a large courtyard within the building with astroturf, barbecues and team celebrations planned.

New job roles on offer range from front of house staff right through to solicitors and heads of department. At the recruitment evening heads of department will be available for informal chats around the job roles and the culture of the firm. Bowling, drinks and food will be provided for those attending.
