Liverpool Law Society reveals awards shortlist

Firms and individuals from across the Liverpool legal sector are on the shortlist for the Liverpool Law Society 2022 Legal Awards. Tony McDonough reports

Liverpool Law Society has published the shortlist for the 2022 Legal Awards with firms and individuals nominated in six categories.

Winners will be announced at the society’s annual dinner. It will take place at the Rum Warehouse at Stanley Dock on Thursday, November 10. Competition was described as “fierce” with the shortlist decided by an independent judging panel.

Well known and long-established law firms make the shortlists, including Brabners. Hill Dickinson, Morecrofts and Weightmans. And it also includes some of the new entrants to the sector such as Provenio Litigation and Astraea Linskills.

Shortlists for the individual awards include people such as Beverly Jones of JMW Solicitors, Jo-anne Lomax of Morecroft Solicitors as well as Elizabeth Manning of Astraea Linskills. The full shortlist is:
