South Liverpool will play host to a World Cup fan park this month when the tournament kicks off in Qatar on November 20.
FanPark Liverpool will be located at Sefton Park Cricket Club. Every single match of the tournament will be played on its huge screen. It will include a fully covered and heated 2,500 seater big top.
There will also be food and drink, a variety of entertainment, match day hosts and football legends. It’s the first time that FanPark is coming to the UK, opening in both Liverpool and Swansea. They have been a regular sight all over the world for a decade.
Entry to FanPark Liverpool is free and on a first-come-first-served basis. Those in larger parties or who want to prebook can make table reservations for up to eight people in the main area of the park.
Table reservations are £20 and guests must pre-order a drinks package. There is also a VIP section that’s available to book for £250. It comes with separate toilets, a two-course meal with vegetarian options and a meet and greet with a football legend.
England will kick off their Fifa World Cup campaign with the first group game against Iran on November 21. They will meet the USA on November 25 and then take part in the eagerly-awaited clash with Wales on November 29.

Jostein Ansnes, of FanPark Liverpool, said: “After 10 years of creating incredibly successful FanParks all over the world, we wanted the city to experience the unbeatable atmosphere that’s created at FanPark for the 2022 World Cup.
“We set out to immerse ourselves in the local community and have chosen Sefton Park Cricket Club as it’s the ideal location for an impressive 2,500-capacity big top. We are involving local food suppliers that Liverpool will know and love.
“We’re looking forward to creating an experience for everyone that includes entertainment, food, drinks and football, while welcoming families, groups of friends and businesses.”
